Information about the GCSE Course
The GCSE course students at Nether Stowe follow is a modular
course from the exam board EDEXCEL.
The marks awarded for the course are divided as follows:
- Module tests (12 tests) - 30%
- Coursework - 20%
- Final examination - 50%
Module tests take place on designated days through Years
10 & 11. They consist of 24 multiple-choice questions
each. There are 4 Chemistry modules, 4 Biology modules and
Physics modules:
